Track 1. Samples taken from the original track 'One Foot Under' by [a=Charles Atlas]. Remixed and reworked by Longstone. Previously released exclusive as a limited edition of 50 lathe-cut 7" singles as part of [l=Ochre Records] 7x7 singles club (OCH055). Track 2. Samples taken from the original track 'Don't Leave This World Without Me' by [a=Silverman (2)]. Radically reworked and reconstructed with new sounds by [a=Longstone]. Previously unreleased. Track 3. Samples taken from the [m=29422] album by [a=Will Sergeant]. Remixed and reworked by [a=Longstone]. Previously unreleased, Track 4. Samples taken from the original track 'Kinski' by [a=Stylus (2)]. Remixed and reworked by [a=Longstone]. Previously released by [a=Stylus (2)] on [l=Ochre Records] [r=618621]. Track 5. Another reworking of the [a=Silverman (2)] track 'Don't Leave This World Without Me'. Vocal samples were processed, remixed and reconstructed by [a=Longstone]. Original vocals by [a=Anna Dennis]. Previously unreleased. Track 6. Samples taken from the original track 'Doukutu' by Ayako Mori (www.myspace.com/ayokomori) Remixed and reworked by [a=Longstone]. New parts and instruments added by Longstone: Mike Ward - bass guitar, electronic sounds, Japanese toy drum (den den daiko) and gong; Mike Cross - electronics, loops, mixing and mastering; Steve Moody - guitar and effects; Chris Cundy - bass clarinet and effects. Previously unreleased. Track 7. [a=Longstone] were asked to remix 'Don't Leave This World Without Me' by [a=Silverman (2)] for a proposed single release that was unfortunately cancelled. Five reworkings were completed, none of them really a traditional remix. The third one presented here retains Anna's vocal track from the original song with an entirely new electronic backing track added by [a=Longstone]. Previously unreleased. Track 8. The original sounds for this track were created especially for a [a=Longstone] collaboration by [a=MC Lord Magrao] (theremin, bowed saw and effects) and [a=Christopher Cundy] (bass clarinet, Rampone & Cazzani saxello and effects). The sounds were recorded by [a=Greig Stewart]. The track was mixed and reworked by [a=Longstone] who added extra instruments and electronics with [a=Kevin Fox] additionally adding 'light activated theremin' to the track as he arrived at the Longstone session having just finished building said device! MC, Chris and Greig are members of [a=Guillemots]. Previously unreleased. Track 9. Samples taken from the original track 'Dulce Part 1' by Galen. Reworked and reconstructed by [a=Longstone].
