Pearsoll Peak’s fourteenth release, "Moss Rug," comes from Portland-based musician and Bud Tapes-founder Emmet Martin, aka World Record Winner. Recorded outside at the Oaks Park Nature Preserve in Southeast Portland, Moss Rug seamlessly weaves together elements of hypnotic folk, acoustic drone, extended guitar performance techniques (including the use of rocks, sticks, and leaves to alter the sound of the guitar) and field recordings to create a transportive ode to solitude and nature.
