Listen closely to the recording and you can hear the summer birds joining the duets. This conversation was improvised, Lori playing cello and Stefan playing a Hammond organ. As for the birds, the spirit you hear in the room is their common understanding: that within a culture shaped by awareness and engagement with the natural world and humanity, music is alive.
