Music For Falling

"This record replicates the music created for the original 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 movie score, while offering more extended versions of some of the tracks. Being able to count with Skating Polly's remarkable "A Little Late" for the end credits was a blessing. The song's piano sound, lyrics, and singing by Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse tie in to the movie's story and original soundtrack in an uncanny way, allowing the audience to reflect and recover after a tough journey. The score's solo piano variation of that song is played by Rafael Plana. I've had the good fortune and pleasure to have collaborated with legendary guitar master Buckethead for almost 25 years, on a series of instrumental and spoken word recordings. "Music For Falling" is our second movie score, after having provided music for Lisandro Alonso's 𝘑𝘢𝘶𝘫𝘢 in 2014. As has always been the case when we've played together, this score - recorded, mixed and mastered by our long-time collaborator and friend Travis Dickerson - was completed in a very relaxed and efficient manner. The three of us have always been communicated well and been inspired by each other.
