Примечания

Electrically Recorded. A: Nickelodeon Transcription B: Pianola Transcription Although the catalog # printed is 14024, some sources indicate this was intended to be 14027. This seems likely as there are two releases using 14024 and none as 14027. [per the 1950 Paramount flyer imaged (14024 was allocated to 'I'm Through' / 'Longshoreman Blues', King Oliver with Clarence William's Orchestra)] A side : 'In the late 1940s, John Steiner issued a crude recording of this piece as rendered by a mechanical piano with percussion effects, labelled "Nickelodeon Transcription - Duke Ellington, Piano". Steiner's vague assertion that Ellington "remembered it" aside, there is no evidence that Ellington cut this roll, which has since disappeared. It is believed to be a mechanically cut Wurlitzer nickelodeon roll (which were never hand-played) and nothing in the straightforward performance suggests Ellington's work." ['Cakewalks, Rags And Novelties. The International Ragtime Discography (1894-1930)' / Allan Sutton / Mainspring Press. 2003] A side : About 30 seconds in, the player piano abruptly stops, a voice says "whoops" and then it starts again (!)
