Shannon K", which is a hoax. It's the original song performed by Type O Negative, speeded-up to make the vocals sound like Marilyn Manson. #3 Class Of ’99 – Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) [Pink Floyd cover] 4:16 The song was in fact performed by a little-known supergroup called Class of '99, featuring vocals by Layne Staley of Alice in Chains and guitar by Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine. #4 Golden Years [David Bowie cover] 3:46 Was recorded during the Antichrist Superstar sessions. Appeared on the soundtrack to the film “Dead Man on Campus” in 1998. #5 Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) [Eurythmics cover - Cyric remix] 4:47 unofficial remix #6 Suicide Is Painless [Johnny Mandel/Mike Altman cover] 3:44 Appeared on the soundtrack to the film “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2” in 2000. #7 Down In The Park [Tubeway Army cover] 5:00 Originally performed by Gary Numan’s band Tubeway Army. Was recorded by MM during the Portrait of an American Family sessions. It appeared on the CD single for "Lunchbox" in 1995. #8 Five To One [the Doors cover] 3:03 Was recorded by MM during the Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death) sessions. Appeared on the CD single for "Disposable Teens" in 2000. #9 unknown artist – Like A Virgin [Madonna cover] 7:39 "Like a Virgin" is often credited as performed by Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor during the Portrait of an American Family recording sessions, although the true performers of the song have not been discovered. In the absence of evidence indicating a commercial release, it seems likely the song was originally distributed online without charge, possibly via peer-to-peer filesharing networks, and that it was perhaps spuriously attributed to Marilyn Manson and/or Trent Reznor by its original uploader (and likely author). #10 Spooks Illustrated – Terrible Lie [Nine Inch Nails cover] 4:41 The song was in fact performed by Spooks Illustrated. # 11 Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) [Eurythmics cover] 4:55 Is listed as a "Remix From House On Haunted Hill" but is the original version. The song was used in the movie “House On Haunted Hill “ but not used as part of the official movie score, compiled by Don Davis (1999).  #12 Sick City [Charles Manson cover] 2:03 "Sick City" is from the same Charles Manson album ("Lie: The Love & Terror Cult", 1970) that has been a big source of inspiration for MM's album "Portrait Of An American Family" (1994). This song was released for free download on the band's official site on Valentine's Day, 2000.  #13 Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids – Son Of Man [partially Black Sabbath cover] 4:49 From "The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat" demo (1990). It features the music of the Black Sabbath song "Iron Man" and a few original verses, but the other lyrics completely different.  #14 Rock ‘n’ Roll Nigger [Patti Smith Group cover] 3:34 Listed as "Alterenate Mix" but is the original version, taken from EP "Smells Like Children" (1995).  #15 Surrender [Cheap Trick cover, live] 3:59 Was performed live at the New Year’s Eve 2001 concert (2000/12/31 - 2001/01/01, New York, NY) and broadcasted by MTV and 92,3 KROCK. #16 Working Class Hero [John Lennon cover] 3:41 B-side taken from the Australian / Japanese maxi-singles for "Disposable Teens" (2000).  #17 Come Together [the Beatles cover, live] 1:27 The song was performed live during the support for Danzig's Danzig 4p Tour in 1995. The version performed during this tour acted as merely an intro to "My Monkey". (Presumably recorded at Headroom in Myrtle Beach, SC on May 3rd, 1995). #18 Strawberry Fields Forever / My Monkey [live] 5:10 It was performed live during the Smells Like Children tour in 1995. Manson recites a few lines of the Beatles song, then the band kicks in with "My Monkey". MM rewrote several verses of “Mechanical Man”, originally performed by Charles Manson in 1968, into his song "My Monkey," originally released on Marilyn Manson and The Spooky Kids' 1990 demo cassette, "The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat," and later released in several different reworkings on other MM works. (Presumably recorded at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN on November 19th, 1995). #19 Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) [Eurythmics cover - Nightmare remix] 4:39 unofficial remix (performer unknown) "Marilyn Manson covers The Beatles, The Doors, Madonna, Type O Negative, NIN, AC/DC and more.
