Björk as a Jazz Singer: "Gling-Glo Live"

Björk - As a Jazz Singer "Gling-Glo Live" Hotel Borg, Reykjavik, Iceland, 30th August 1990 Stereo Soundboard Recording This is a pressed CD of a rare concert by Björk Guðmundsdóttir & Tríó Guðmundar Ingólfssonar at the Hotel Borg in Reykjavik, Iceland. It was recorded on August 30th, 1990, two days before the band began recording their only studio album, "Gling-Gló". The source of this recording is an excellent lossless soundboard-quality leak of the complete concert which has never been broadcast in full. Several of these songs did not feature on the studio album, namely: "Misty" "My Funny Valentine" "I Fall in Love Too Easily" "You Don't Know What Love Is" "Cry Me A River" "<unknown>" All songs are performed in Icelandic except tracks #4, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 16 which are performed in English. All of Björk's spoken words between tracks are in Icelandic. Track #1 features faded-in audience applause and Björk introducing the first song ("Pabbi Minn") while the band tunes their instruments. Track #18 features an Icelandic-sung song, the title of which remains unknown. Track durations do not appear on the release itself but entered precisely.
