This is ostensibly a Supraphon release, but there are Supraphon stickers over the label name on the front of the box and on the record labels. The Russian text that's been covered up by the stickers says it's an Ultraphone release and that's consistent with the catalog number, which is ULP 106/107. So, this appears to be a "re-branded" Russian Ultraphone recording. The notes on the back of the box and all other text (aside from the covered up Russian) is in English. The labels indicate "recorded in Europe" but also "made in USA". Comes with a 16-page black and white booklet (no photos or illustrations). A sticker on the back reads: "Importer & Distributor: GW NC Supraphon® 69 South Moger Avenue, Mount Kisco, NY 10549" Just above the sticker, the booklet says: "Synopsis and Libretto Translated and Published by: Ultraphone Records, Inc." Then below that: "Copyright 1964 Ultraphone Records, Inc." There are several versions of this otherwise in the Discogs database, but all Melodiya releases, all in Russian. Assigned this to the US market based on the text being all in English, the discs having been manufactured in the US, and the "importer and distributor" being a US entity.
