Carter / Reger

Limited to 250 numbered copies, each containing 2 copies of the same record - one playable, and one "physically remixed" (i.e. defaced/destroyed in some way). Each copy is packaged in a defaced sleeve from a different 7" single, and includes a handwritten insert noting who "remixed" the destroyed record, the date it was done, and other details. Diskono press release: 'Carter' (composed from samples of author's father playing jazz) & 'Reger' (composed from samples of author's great uncle, german composer Max Reger). The other 7" features the same 2 tracks PHYSICALLY REMIXED by us, for creative use (i.e. holes burnt in certain places to make them stick, tape in certain places to force the record to loop, surface scratched to different degrees to induce additional 'surface noise' and tonal differential). Includes a log detailing methods used on EACH record, and a blank one for people who buy the record to send back to Diskono re-mutilated. Limited 250 copies.
