The original 4 song EP Pressing from Country of Origin Australia. Recorded at York Street Studios Melbourne Australia October 1982. Mastered and cut at EMI. (p) & (c) on the back cover both as 1982 but lyric sheet says lyrics copywrite 1982 & 1983. Original includes poster, lyric sheet and merchandise form. The only 4 song version. The other 4 vinyl issues, later cdr issue and 1984 Australian cassette issue are 5 songs and therefore considered mini albums instead of an EP, with the song Heavin' having been omitted from this Australian 1983 pressing. A1 is titled "Nine Lives" on the back cover and labels and "Got to Deliver" on the lyric sheet. A note on the lyric sheet indicates that the latter title is the correct one. "Break and Bend" is the original recording from the York St session - the 1984 reissue on Mushroom and all international releases use the re-recorded single version. Even though 33 1/3 rpm is printed on the labels, the record actually plays at 45 rpm. In 2025, the band began selling new-old-stock copies of the album from their archives with damaged cover art. When they released their album "Cry Havoc" on 1 August that year, they also had new covers printed for the remaining NOS copies. The covers are also available separately for those who already own an original pressing.
