This 2 DVD set includes one on the story of Reggae on the River, which is a musical journey that began more than 20 years ago as a fundraising concert to rebuild the Mateel Community Center after it was burned by an arsonist in 1984. The unfolding story is a celebration of love, unity and community. It shows how powerful grassroots economic development can be when forward thinking people come together to form a collective consciousness. Each year, thousands of people from all corners of the globe make the pilgrimage to the Eel River to connect spiritually with old friends and make new ones.
