"An H.M.V. recording, released in Australia exclusively by World Record Club." Australian WRC 1st pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. "S/2820" on sleeve, "S-2820" on labels. The labels feature tall header font, with non-bold font elsewhere - the late 1973 style. Cream cover, laminate strip present down the right side of the rear of the sleeve. Offered as part of the 1973-74 "Masterworks of Music" programme (previously the Basic Library) on LP, cassette (0452), 8-track and reel-to-reel (8806-8807). The Silvestri recording replaced [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/7792273]S/4101[/url], with John Pritchard conducting, as the standard WRC reading - hence its release outside the regular numbering. This was replaced in turn by the Klemperer version ([url=https://www.discogs.com/release/13661153]R-04456[/url]) in May 1978. Issued again (as R-00081 from 1975) in December 1974, December 1975, September 1976 and September 1977: the 1976 and 1977 issues were vinyl-only.
