The "✲"stamp in runouts would normally be an indication that this record was pressed at [l313266]. However, the 'delta' job sequence number (△23122) is indicative of a [l264380] pressing. The disconnect is solved by this commentary from Discogs user Showbiz_Kid: --- In 1978-79, there was a pressing plant union strike that saw many major labels, like Capitol, Columbia and RCA outsourcing pressings to third-party pressers, and shipping their own stampers to them to do the job. What is the size of the pressing ring on your labels? Is it 1.5”, as shown in my photos here, or closer to 2.875”? If it’s the larger one, that would indicate that you have a Monarch pressing made using Capitol, LA stampers. --- The pressing ring size on this release is 2.875", thus making it a Monarch pressing.
