Metamorphose XII

Bilingual liner notes: "Metamorphose XII" è un album nato per essere doppio. Racchiude l'essenza di dodici brani vestiti con suoni e storie in mutamento, temi identici e composti in doppia versione: un cd per sola arpa e l'altro orchestrato con venti musicisti. È l'ascoltatore che decide da quale tipo di energia (cd) attingere, perché le emozioni sono mutevoli. L'intento è proprio quello di portare l'ascoltatore in due mondi paralleli, in modo da creare la metamorfosi delle idee e delle impressioni. Il concetto di metamorfosi è davvero importante per la musica che scrivo: tutte le mie composizioni sono realizzate seguendo questo concetto stimolante e creativo, che chiede di essere domato ma che, allo stesso tempo, impone l'abbandono di qualsiasi categoria di linguaggio sonoro, di ogni definizione di limite, alla ricerca della capacità di dire (e ascoltare) oltre l'ovvio delle cose. "Metamorphose XII" is an album which was born to be double. It encloses the essence of twelve tracks dressed up with changing sounds and stories, identical themes but assembled on two different compositions: one cd as solo harp and the other one performed together with a twenty-musicians orchestra. It is up to the listener to decide the kind of energy (cd), because our emotions are always fluctuating. My purpose is bringing the listener into two parallel worlds, so that a metamorphosis of ideas and feelings can occurr. The concept of metamorphosis is really important inside my music: all my compositions are realized following this stimulating and creative concept, which needs to be tamed, but, in thee same time, induces to give up to any category of sound language, any definition of limit, aiming to find the capability of speaking (and listening) beyond the obvious meaning of all matters.
