Attempted Suicide

Recorded between November 2005 and April 2006 at Signal to Noise Studios (Toronto, ON) Mixed at Signal to Noise Studios April 2006 Mastered at Golden Mastering (Ventura, CA) One-Sided test pressing of the First Mastering / Rejected Edition. White label with no inserts. This record features Side B of 'Attempted Suicide' only. Side B matrix: DY#85-B “ONE RULE: NO THINKING” (hand-etched on the run-out groove). Side B matrix: GOLDEN (stamped on the run-out groove). The label on Side B has the wrong, hand-written (black pen) title: HOLIER THAN THOU? High on Barbecue 12" test press Side A is dead vinyl. The label on Side A has the right number: DY-85 (same as on matrix of Side B), hand-written (red marker) The label on Side A has also the wrong band name (red marker) HxTxTx? So, this is actually a one-sided test pressing of the Career Suicide ‘Attempted Suicide’ LP first pressing (rejected). It is a mispressed test pressing – with only Side B pressed. My copy (the one on Discogs) features wrong, hand-written information on both labels. Someone saw that this was a one-sided record, released on Deranged (DY- number) and automatically made the connection that this was the Holier Than Thou? 'High on barbecue' single-sided 12" test pressing (released in 2003). Though the DY-85 number belongs to Career Suicide's 'Attempted Suicide' LP (first pressing released in 2006).
