Примечания

This is a strange album and was probably made for quick sale at a low price. The "songs" do not have track times listed. The album does not contain any credits other than Compose Records of Newark, N.J. and "super long play." This album is a compilation of retitled and reattributed tracks primarily from other Newark-based [l149063] sublabels such as [l51376] and [l113248]. A few tracks are borrowed from other labels as well, such as [l33507], [l558105], and [l129098]. Several of the tracks on this collection were attributed to [a1009563] after sound effects were added. Many of the tracks also appeared on [r5255110] with added reverb and stereo channels reversed. The song "Blue Waters" appears twice on this album, once on each side, mistitled on the A-side as "Doin' The Hully Gully" (track A4). The song "Watusi Way" also appears twice on the album, once on each side, titled as "In The Swim" (track A9) and correctly titled as track B9. The tracks on each side of the record are grouped into four visible bands, although the individual songs don't run together seamlessly. This unorthodox grouping may have been necessary in order to fit almost 62 minutes of music onto the album. The group [a651732] (spelled "The Beachnuts" on the front cover and "The Beechnuts" on the back cover) is likely unrelated to this collection. Following is how these tracks have appeared on other albums: BAND 1 A1 - “Why,” track B1 from [m747974] A2 - “Chicken Coop,” track C3 from [r5255110] A3 - “In the Valley,” track C2 from [r5255110], as well as “Horror Staccato,” track A4 from [r2708301] with sound effects added A4 - “Blue Waters,” track C5 from [r5255110] BAND 2 A5 - “Summer Sweethearts,” track B3 from [m747974] A6 - was not retitled. It's track A4 from [r7517781], notable for the lead trumpet hitting a wrong note at the 1:29 mark A7 - “Emilia Polka,” track A1 from [r13787599] BAND 3 A8 - “My (Bonnie) Buddy,” track A4 from [m820389] A9 - “Watusi Way,” track D2 from [r5255110] A10 - "Ha Ha Ska" isn't heard on the album despite being listed on the back cover and label. It was probably intended to have been "Ha Ha Skah," track D3 from [r5255110]. A11 - “Elbow Twist,” track B1 from [r16471683] BAND 4 A12 - "Mamborama," track G1 from [r5255110] A13 - “The Green Defender,” track A4 from [r5348471] A14 - was not retitled. It matches track H5 from [r5255110] BAND 1 B1 - “Slippin’ Through Your Fingers,” track B5 from [r5951902] B2 - “Doin’ The Hully Gully,” track A4 from [r5255110] B3 - was not retitled. It appeared on the other side of this album as track A4 and matches track C5 from [r5255110]. B4 - “Chicken Watusi,” track A2 from [r5255110] BAND 2 B5 - “Adios Muchacha,” track B5 from [r10473279] B6 - “Peek A Boo Cha Cha," track G5 from [r5255110] B7 - "Adios Amigo," track A2 from [r6026499] BAND 3 B8 - "Wrist Twist," track A1 from [r5255110] B9 - was not retitled. It appeared on the other side of this album as track A9 and matches track D2 from [r5255110]. B10 - was not retitled. It matches track B2 from [r5095687]. B11 - "Hawaiian Twist," track B6 from [r5255110] BAND 4 B12 - was not retitled. It matches track A3 from [r17877211]. B13 - was not retitled. It matches track B1 from [r4649016]. B14 - "Wabash Theme (Square Dance Tonight!)" by Millie Dillmount and Her Glad Rag Band.
