Nevertheless, this film is a fascinating dokumentary about the recording of the album of the same name in early 1969 and truly deserves to be seen today! It proves that The Beatles were still capable of making good music, even at a time when relationships within the band weren‘t at all rosy anymore. the movie was dearly loved by Beatles fans who saw it in cinemas during the early 1970s, not least because it includes one of the most memorable moments in rock history: The legendary last live appearance of the band on the rooftop of the Apple Office Building, London, 30 January 1969.
